- Abutment: The abutment is a small titanium connector that is fastened to the fixture. The abutment is sometimes called a “post.” The post is an important piece of technology because it’s the mechanism that secures the crown to the fixture.
- Crown: The crown is the visible part of your implant. It’s also known as a dental prosthesis.
